Part 1: TReDS Registration Guide (for Early Payment via Invoice Discounting)
Eligibility:
Must have valid Udyam Registration (Earlier Udyog Aadhaar).
Must be a supplier to corporates, PSUs, or government buyers.
Steps to Register on TReDS
1. Choose a TReDS Platform:
Invoicemart
RXIL
M1xchange
2. Gather Required Documents:
Udyam Registration Certificate
PAN card of the business
GST Registration
Bank details with cancelled cheque
KYC documents (Aadhaar, PAN of proprietor/directors)
Copy of latest audited financials or income tax returns
3. Register Online on selected platform.
4. Verification: The TReDS platform team will verify details and approve your login.
5. Start Raising Invoices: After registration, MSMEs can:
Upload invoices raised to their buyers.
Once buyers accept, financiers will bid.
Upon acceptance, MSMEs receive early payment (minus discounting charges).
Part 2: Filing Complaint on MSME Samadhaan Portal (For Delayed Payments)
Eligibility:
Must be an MSME with Udyam Registration.
Invoice unpaid beyond 45 days.
Steps to File Complaint:
1. Visit: https://samadhaan.msme.gov.in/
2. Click on: “Entrepreneur Login” and register.
3. Upload the Following:
Udyam Registration certificate
Copy of Invoice(s)
Communication trail with buyer
Payment due details
4. Submit Application to respective MSE Facilitation Council.
5. Track Status Online.
Outcome:
Buyer will be called for hearing by MSEFC.
Decision is enforceable and buyer is liable to pay principal + interest.
